Introduction

Share the Care is a charity supporting carers in Lincolnshire.

Carers are defined as people of any age whose lives are restricted because of caring responsibilities undertaken in support of a relative or friend. The person cared for may be an adult or child who has an illness, physical or learning disability, or mental ill health.

A Young Carer is a child or young person under the age of 18 who has responsibility, either as a sole carer or in support of another adult  family member for the care of a parent or family member who is suffering from illness, disability or addiction. The caring role may  be physical, practical or emotional.

Share the Care is a member of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers Network.
